Producing 4,500 cases a year, Mount Horrocks Wines is a boutique winery creating high quality, award winning wines from estate grown fruit. Owner/winemaker Stephanie Toole carefully handcrafts her wines, which she describes as essentially 'handmade food wines'. Five wine varieties are produced under the Mount Horrocks Wines label including riesling, semillon, cabernet sauvignon, shiraz and the Cordon Cut Riesling which was served to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at her 80th birthday. James Halliday awarded Mount Horrocks a red five star rating in his 2012 Australian Wine Companion and Stephanie was nominated as one of the eight finalists for the prestigious 2007 Gourmet Traveller Australian Winemaker of the Year Award. Come to Mount Horrocks cellar door at the Old Railway Station where you can taste Stephanie Toole's award winning wines. The onsite Station Cafe also offers great lunch options.
Grosset Wines is a small, independently owned winery in Auburn, specialising in the production of seven highly regarded premium wines: Springvale Watervale Riesling, Polish Hill Riesling, Off-dry Riesling, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, Piccadilly Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Gaia, a cabernet blend. Grosset wines are highly sought after, exported worldwide and served in first and business class on Qantas domestic and international services. Grosset wines are available by mail-order (see website to join mail-list) as the cellar door is only open from the first weekend in September each year for approximately six weeks. Numerous awards such as the Inaugural Australian Volvo/Wine Magazine Winemaker of the Year Award and the Inaugural Riesling Winemaker of the Year Award, Germany 1988, are the result of Jeffrey Grosset's dedication and meticulous attention to fine wine making leading to his recognition by acclaimed Australian wine writer James Halliday in 2008 that the Grosset range are 'benchmarks'.
Clare Valley Brewing Company is the culmination of many beers consumed by business partners Craig Harnett and Ben Jeanneret.
